About Dr. Hendrik Graefe

Dr. Hendrik Graefe was born in Hamburg in 1975 and grew up there. He is married and the father of three children – a younger daughter and two adult sons.

He studied medicine from 1996 to 2003 at the University of Lübeck. After that, he completed his residency in ENT medicine at the University Hospital Lübeck, which he successfully finished in 2008. In the same year, he was appointed senior physician there.

In 2012, Dr. Graefe returned to his hometown of Hamburg. Since then, he has been working in the ENT department of Asklepios Klinik St. Georg, where he was appointed Chief Senior Physician in March 2023.

Surgical Focus: Nasal Surgery with Experience & Precision

Dr. Graefe has focused on operative ENT medicine since the beginning of his residency to provide his patients with the best possible surgical results. He has now performed several thousand procedures, and this extensive experience is reflected in his precision, safety, and quality of results.

Since 2007, he has had a special focus on functional and aesthetic nasal surgery. Through training with renowned national and international experts and regular participation in prestigious continuing education courses, he masters both modern techniques and classical reconstructive procedures in rhinoplasty.

As an ENT specialist, it is his central concern that every nose not only looks aesthetically pleasing but also breathes well in the long term. For him, form and function are inseparable.
