- Reconstructive surgery for sunken nose bridge (e.g., with cartilage grafts from the nasal septum, ear, rib, fascia, PRF)
- Hybrid procedures (combination of preservation rhinoplasty and structural techniques)
Frequently Asked Questions about Nose Spine Correction
How long does it take to heal?
Visible swelling usually subsides after 2–3 weeks. The final result often becomes apparent only after 6–12 months, as the tissue slowly reorganizes.
Is the operation painful?
Most patients report little to no pain, rather a slight feeling of tension in the nose area.
What aids are used after the operation?
An external splint is worn for about a week. Inside, there are usually soft silicone splints with breathing tubes – no tampons.
When can I return to social activities?
After about 10–14 days, when the splint is removed and the initial swelling has subsided.
Does the health insurance cover the costs?
Functional procedures on the nasal septum are usually covered. The aesthetic correction of the nose bridge is a private service.
How severe are bruising?
The use of Piezo ultrasound technology often results in only minor or no bruising.
